Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Faceva (the “Service”), available at https://www.faceva.org. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Faceva is a private personal-data dashboard that lets you bring your own official data exports and authorized connections into a single place you control, and view summaries and patterns derived from that data. Faceva is provided for personal, informational use. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, or other professional advice, and its outputs must not be relied upon as such.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and any access tokens, and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly at ionrutz@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

You retain all rights to the data you import into or connect to the Service (“Your Content”). You grant us only the limited permission needed to store, process, and display Your Content back to you so the Service can function. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to import any data you bring into the Service. Our handling of Your Content is described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
• Upload data you do not have the right to use, or that infringes the rights of others.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems.
• Interfere with, disrupt, or place an unreasonable load on the Service or its infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer or misuse the Service except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law.

The Service can connect to third-party services (such as Google) at your direction. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party services, and access we obtain through them is used only as described in our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect any connection at any time.

The Service, including its software, design, and content we provide (excluding Your Content), is owned by Faceva and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding.

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any derived summaries or patterns are accurate or complete.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Faceva and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if necessary to protect the Service or other users. Upon termination, the rights granted to you under these Terms will end, and provisions that by their nature should survive (such as ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will remain in effect.

We may modify the Service or these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes to these Terms, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the operator’s place of residence, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local consumer-protection laws provide otherwise.
